App works however it does one thing wrong. 1) Once installed, it does transfer pics and videos as advertised. 2) However, it kills the Live Preview feature on the OEM GoPro App. 3) Only fix is to record with GoPro App and then install this app afterwards. Then once you pull the videos off with this app, delete it and the live view will work again with the GoPro App. If this is fixed, great app!!!!!!!!

A pretty good app worth the money the only downfall is its a little slow on the download but it tells you that and it would be nice if we could use a cable to help speed things up

Does NOT work with Hero 3 Black!!

I have a Hero 2 with WIFI. The Gopro app works perfectly. This doesnt see the camera at all. Wasted 3 bucks. Refund please.

Finally an app that I can download my GoPro photos to my iPhone without a computer. Works straight from the GoPro to my Iphone. Just had to upload a small file to the SD card and I was good to go. Used it MANY of times and works great! I recommend it. (Hero3 black edition)

Setup with a Hero 3 silver went real easy. As advertised, doesnt work with all video formats.

I didnt heed the other warnings in these reviews and assumed everyone was just using it wrong. Turned in and set my GoPro HD2 with WiFi Backpack. Turned on the app Pressed "test" And the test told me everything was all good! Woohoo! Went to the view screen and nothing ever came up. Pressed "refresh" and got an error. Went to the home screen and every time I hit "test" it gives me some bologna error message. Feel scammed.

I hooked it up to a hero 3 silver and it worked perfectly. Was a little slow to download but was so convenient

I have a gopro hero 3 black with latest firmware and this app doesnt work. I can connect to the camera, but when I try to browse file contents theres nothing to see. I wish gopro would update their app to allow for file transfer. I also wish you could return apps to the App Store!

It would be great if it connected seamlessly. But it doesnt. You have to download a text file and install It onto your flash memory card for starters. Then to get it to work properly you have to set your iPhone or iPad to airplane mode then connect wirelessly to the GoPro.

I was trying to find a smart way to transfer video file from the GoPro to my iPad. This app simply doesnt do what it is claimed to be doing on the apple store. simply impossible to transfer a 1 MB video file. what a rip off...

Says it deletes videos but the videos keep coming back. Frequently reports "cant communicate with camera" when camera is fine, so you have to kill the program and restart. Puts camera into mirrored video sometimes. No way to report bugs from inside the program. Wont do landscape. Great way to browse if you cant load OS6, but needs a lot of work.

If you have a new Hero 3 it will not work! The new Hero 3 has a firewall, which makes the app. useless.

The fact that I can now view and download my videos and pictures straight to my phone without having to open my Gopro HERO3 is awesome the only down side is its not super fast but its good, Im guessing there will be updates in the near future to fix that!! But love it :)

This app does what it says it does. I read the reviews first before I purchased it and I was a bit worried. Then I read the reviews of the official GoPro app (which I have been using) and realized that technology baffles a huge percentage of customers. The rating is more a reflection of customer IQ than the rating of this product, sad but true.
